About Darlene Chenoweth

Spreading kindness and helping others to just have a good day is the motivating factor behind Author and Artist, Darlene Chenoweth’s work. Growing up in Princeton, IN, Darlene has always had a love and appreciation for animals which are often the subject of her projects. She also has a passion for children and for touching their lives through her paintings and stories. If she isn’t spending time with her beloved grandchildren, you will find her creating her “Oh Happy Day!” cards featuring brightly painted birds in a cheerful scene with messages of encouragement on the back. She gives these cards to friends and most often strangers in hopes to just add a smile and a little happiness to their day.
How Uno Lost His Bark is her second children’s book, Train Fish being her first, both of which she wrote and illustrated.
